God is Out to Get Us?

11For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

   12How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

   13And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

God has recorded every name of every person ever born and therefore knows everything we do or say. Please note that it is God’s purpose to not only know about us; He wants to bring us into His fold:

  • God will get us because He planned it.

  • God will get us to help us not harm us. Jeremiah 29:11

  • God will get us because He has obligated Himself to take care of us.

Jesus incarnated Himself in order to enter our Earth realm as the Good Shepherd.

  • He laid down His life for us. John 10:11

  • He cares for the lost. Matt. 18:12-13

  • He nurtures the sheep in His fold. Psalm 23
